An Honest Day's Work

An honest day's work, for an honest day's pay (as determined by the head office).  The hockey-masked man shovels an intestine into a bucket so gearface can pay him.  A vegetable plate left over from a management meeting sits on the table.

He's not a mirror image, his hands are on backwards

This is a recent drawing of a cartoon-y guy made entirely from colored pens on drawing paper.  Anyway, I drew his hands backwards and thought for a moment that maybe he's a mirror image of himself, but obviously a mirror wouldn't work quite like that.

I drew this checker-faced monster while in a dark mood.  Note that some of his chakras putting out the wrong colors.  Everyone's about to eat everyone.

Louis C.K. is a recent hero of mine.  I hope to have done him at least a shred of justice.  I know his hair is supposed to be red, but black and brown pens are what I had on hand at the time. 

The Walls Have Eyes, And They Are Crying

I drew this crying eye on a wall between sound-checking some bands, and showtime.  No deep meaning, unless you want to read into it.

I honestly intended to have him hold a guitar, but he ended up holding a chicken leg instead.  I'm glad.

 My second fake album cover. A pen-and-marker drawing of Bob Dylan sidestepping that whole Basement Tapes/The Band era, and opting for the Elvis-y Las Vegas performer thing, just in case going electric didn't piss off the folk purists enough.  Here's the cover for a live album from the late 60's/early 70's.  No back cover.  Sorry.

If David Bowie had decided to go in a country-ish direction in the mid 70's (instead of his plastic soul adventures), this is the album cover he probably would have had.

This is the back cover with the would-be credits and track listing.  I'll be that collaboration with Ry Cooder would be a phenomenal piece of work.
